The Warehouse is New Zealand’s largest General Merchandise Retailer with an outsourcing office based in Shanghai. Due to our fast expansion, we are now looking for high calibre candidates to join our team in Shanghai.

Merchandise Trainee

Duties:

· Administration of the specification and quotation process as directed by Merchandiser or Senior Merchandiser

· Obtain quotes on price, delivery, packaging and other terms of trade as directed by merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser

· Work with QC/QA team or SGS testing company on product testing issue and sample approval, final inspection ect.

· Complete additional tasks or assignments

· Produce all reports required by the MM/Senior Merchandiser/Merchandiser

· Liaise with factories on export/Import duties and legal documents filing.

· Liaise with factories to ensure they can deliver against the requirements of the tenders/quotations submitted and orders placed

· Liaise with the supplier to ensure goods are shipped on time and within the terms of trade agreed with the buyer

· Liaise wit the respective shipping function to ensure all documentation is completed in a timely

· Ensure all labelling requirements are met and meet any legislative requirements

· Follow up of all orders

· Complete OTT in order tracking system on a timely basis.

· Prepare all samples to NZ

Requirements:

1. College degree and above, majored in International Trading/English;

2. Familiar with the whole procedure of the garment production .

3. Good knowledge of quality control, garment construction & technical;

4. Good English communication skills. Be very organized, responsible and proactive

       5. Good at both oral and written English.CET-6 is a must.  
       6. A good team member, honest, hardworking; willing to be overtime.
       7. With experience of team management

QA/QC Inspection Trainee

Duties:

- QA/QC Inspection and wash testing
- To ensure that all products sent to NZ for approval already meets with the product
specifications and standards outlined by NZQA.
- Maintain proper records of QA inspection result to enable effective communication of issues to suppliers by either the QA supervisor or the merchandiser teams
- Ensure all identified tasks / work streams are completed accurately and against the identified timeframes.
- Communicate with suppliers on quality issues for improvements
- Provide necessary technical support and advise to suppliers
- Report inspection findings in an accurate and timely manner
- Ad hoc assignments by the Management

Requirements:

-Solid QA/QC knowledge in soft goods
-Average in spoken and written English
